Jorrit blogging for ‘Faces of Science’

As of June 2017 Jorrit Steehouder will be blogging as a ‘Face of Science’, about his research, but also about his experiences as a researcher. The project ‘Faces of Science’ was initiated by the  Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW, Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen), the Young Academy (De Jonge Akademie) and NEMO Kennislink.  The aim of Faces of Science is for young researchers to share their knowledge and experience with students at and early point in their career. This way, students have a realistic view of what it is to work as a researcher, and they can decide for themselves whether they want to pursue a career in academia.
