Jorrit Steehouder at Annual Graduate Conference on the History of European Integration

On 20 September Jorrit Steehouder presented a paper at the Annual Graduate Conference on the History of European Integration at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy.

The Annual Graduate Conference on the History of European Integration is a joint initiative between the Alcide De Gasperi Research Centre at the EUI and the two European associations of young researchers, RICHIE (Réseau international de jeunes chercheurs en histoire de l’intégration européenne) and HEIRS (History of European integration research society). The conference is organised with the support of the Deparment of History and Civilization and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies.

The Graduate Conference is a unique conference specifically for PhD students and early career researchers to discuss ongoing research related to the history of European integration, broadly conceived. The Graduate Conference consists of panel sessions focused on submitted research papers, as well as debates on historiographical and methodological approaches. The aim of the conference is to provide an informal atmosphere in which new ideas and research directions, as well as practical advice on publishing and academic careers can be shared and debated.
