Robert Koenig was an American industrialist with expertise in mining. Between 1939 and 1950 he served as president and director of the Ayrshire Collieries Corporation. In 1947, Koenig chaired the Mineral Resources Subcommittee of the President’s Committee on Foreign Aid.
