Giovanni Francesco Malagodi was an Italian liberal politician. Throughout the 1930s he made a career in international finance at the Banca Commerciale Italiana.

After the war, he represented Italy at the Organisation for European Economic Cooperation (OEEC), where he participated in the Joint Trade and Payments Committee which was chaired by his fellow countryman Pietro Stoppani. He also represented Italy in the Executive Committee of the OEEC, and was appointed to a Committee of Four in 1948, which was to make a recommendation on the division of Marshall Aid for 1948-1949. Between 1947 and 1953, Malagodi had a number of advisory roles on economic and financial matters to the Italian government. In 1954, he was appointed Secretary-General of the Italian Liberal Party.
